Note that Nancy said the steel straight-across Hall adjustable rear bay brace 
hit her clutch slave cylinder. When she added this upgrade a couple of years 
ago, we had to cut a beveled semi-circular piece of steel out of the bar to 
just clear the slave. To restore some if not all the bar's strength, we 
welded a half-circle of steel back into the cut-out. Now, the weld-in 
diagonal cross-braces will take even more fiddling, cutting & welding etc on 
this abused piece of square steel bar. This car is an early-dash '73 with 
more peculiarities as she gets further into it. Be surprised at nothing when 
you "improve" a limited-production Italian  car..... J deRyke
