I bought a 377 kit from Coast. It included pistons, cast crank and rods. I
was leary of buying a kit so I paid my machinist to magnuflux the crank,
check the stroke and check main and rod bearing clearances. All was fine. I
had the crank re-inspected after 2000 miles of combination street use and
track use and all is fine. Oh by the way, I had to get new pistons for other
reasons. So I bought J&E pistons this time. I got them in 13 weeks. I think
I could of widdled them out of round bar stock with a pocket knife quicker
than that.
