Tire shipping costs can vary widely. Tires from Tire Rack cost about $8
each to ship UPS. Shortly after buying my Pantera I purchased a set of
Pirelli P-7's from an individual and agreed to pay shipping. He boxed them
up rather than just sticking the mailing label to the tire like Tire Rack
does. Shipping bill - close to $100 for 4 tires!!!
Lesson: Do NOT box tires for shipping - stick a label on the tire.
