good luck w/your pantera quest - as i yust completed one myself (as you know), i
can relate!

re:  tires, i think you mite wanna forget using 16" wheels on the rear of a
pantera - there is only ONE tire, a bfg comp t/a 275-50-vr16 that is appropriate
to be used here.  THAT'S IT!!!  i know, cuz i'm looking for something for my
kitty also - the pirelli 285-50-15 p7's on my gnu toy are shot, and i'm also in
search of a change.  i think 17's on the rear are a min. requirement now...  if
i can find some 16x9's front, & 17x11's rear, w/suitable tires for ~$2k, i'll
consider myself lucky.  :<(  at least i got the car at a decent price, so i can
do this, and massage the motor a li'l too!  :>)

ps - there's a guy (yoshi) in calif who's selling some hall wheels - 15's front,
16's rear, he's asking $850, which includes tires.  his advert is on the pim
bulletin board.
