I've got Allstate too. I expected to have to go to a stated
value policy but my agent suggested checking to see if
they still listed the Pantera under their normal coverage.
Sure enough they do and it's not even in a high rate bracket.
He mentioned that Missouri is an "actual value" (or some other
insurance speak) state and that the payout would be similar to
a stated value policy (for what I intended on putting down as
the value). He did caution me to keep all my reciepts, have
the car appraised, and document the car on videotape, especially
after any modifications are made.

You guys with early '70's Panteras are lucky to be able to buy insurance
for $179/year. The driving restrictions would be OK for me but Haggerty
ect will not issue on my P because it's a 1987 model. Something about the
car not being an antique or old enough :(. I ended up insuring it as a
"pleasure" car (7,500 max miles/year) through Allstate and pay $344 for 6
months - $688/yr - 4 times the Haggerty rate.
