Subject:Boring with a torque plate

Next question....

Now that I'm into boring this block, I remember the recommendation by many
on this list, to use a torque plate when boring. Well, as luck would have
it... no one in Spokane seems to carry a torque plate for a 351C, or any
Ford product for that matter. They keep asking me why I don't just put a
chevy in there. Grrrrrrrrr.

So tell me why I want to do this with a torque plate again?

Tell me how much they are, if I were to buy one for myself (to use each
time I did this)

And where can I buy one?

Thanks,
Asa <anxious to get this engine built>* Jay
