I too had a lot of fun. First time for me on a dyno. Got an oxygen sensor installed in
one of my pipes courtesy of PCNC and Roger Sharp and discovered I was running
way lean ... jetted up 4 sizes on both primary and secondary and picked up about 5 HP.
More jetting to do ... still lean. I'm running a 650 carb shop stage 2 double pumper, Mike
not a 750 and my best pull was 304 rwhp. And, I'm from Austin, not Houston
(no offense, Space City guys). Lets keep things straight here, Mike. :-)))
Steve Leibenow had the most impressive car at the event, except for maybe Mike's
GT350, which snarled nicely :-) It was a very cherry Ford Fairlane wagon with, what was it
Steve, A 427, 428 or 429 or something cute ... very nice. Good work Steve. What
did it pull ?
I'm out here in beautiful PCNC country for another couple of weeks looking
'round and then heading back towards TX via Route 66 at the end of the month.
See y'all at Coco's Thursday.
