<< Hi All, Getting ready to paint #03039 . I ve admired quite a few of the P
cars paint schemes. All of them help to personalize the car to the
individuals taste. My personal preference is to black everything out from
the
body line
on down. What type of finish do most of you guys use for the black?
Gloss, satin, or flat? Or is it just a personal thing? Any other painting
suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks for your input.

Ernie,
I have done the black two different ways so far on my car. Gloss (very easy
maintenance) and flat (ah-lah Group 4 satin finish - much harder to keep nice
due to the dull surface).
I prefer the satin finish actually even though it is harder to maintain
because it really accentuates the contrasting color.
It really does come down to personal tastes. I like chocolate. :o)
