All,
I need your help in understanding the SSCC better! I'm recovering from
surgury( had a benign tumor the size of a softball removed from my
chest) and I need to explain the intessity of this activity to my doctor
before I can commit to going. My P car is mostly stock with a few engine
enhancements. I'm also in the middle of changing the hoses over to Gates
green stripes and installing a sucker fan (right now all I can do is
stare at it). I need more details on course layout...is it bumpy or
smooth? what roads? how do you time yourself...stop watch? kitchen
timer? GPS? safety equiptment...Helmets? harnesses? rules...where do I
acquire them from? are passangers allowed? I should be nearing the end
of my recovery in mid May, but I need to hear from people who have run
it before to find out how brutal it is on the human body. I would be
traveling 2000 miles from Michigan to Nevada I will have that also throw
into human body brutality mix.
Thanks,
Bob T. #3952
