We did this at a Tech Session last year in PCNC. We ended up using a 3/4
inch tap (like thread chaser) We simply lubed up the hole with some
grease, then screwed the tap into the bushing, and kept turning. It
eventually turned the bushing right out of the crank. No damage to the
crank either.
Try it, and let us know just how easy it is.
