Hi all:
Just wanted to know what this term mean (sorry, I'm still a newbie on
engines). I think that this means the "throw" of the piston is deeper as a
result of messing with the crank. In effect, one gets a bigger displacement
in a cylinder effectively increasing the volume of that space. Is that
right? How does one do this on a Cleveland (knowing good and well one can't
oversize the cylinder because of that ubiquitous "thin wall" design).Any
thoughts appreciated. Cal.
