hi "mary" ;~)

thanks for the info - i guess i'm doing all rite - my set-up i'm getting is
similar, except i have double, not triple springs, the guides are iron, & i'm
not sure yet, whether the chambers will need to be cc'd - they're getting
czeched. everything else will be the same as what you have. it's costing me
$775 (delivered), & i'll still have my 4v open-chamber heads...

Doug I'll share my experience in Nov of '92 for comparison purposes. I
am
confident that it could have been done for less or you may forgo a few
of
the extras. I was surprised how things added up.

I swapped my tired open chamber heads plus $200 for a tired set of
quench
	heads.

	Heads w/exchange $200
Install 8 hardened exhaust seats $100
Machine heads for screw in studs $100
	Install Bronze valve guides $125
Match ccs in head (58cc) $80 (Required decking
surfaces
	.045)
Stainless Valves and 3 angle grind $235
	Guide plates $21
	single groove keepers $4
	Rocker Arm Studs $29
Machine spring seats for triple springs $32
	Spring retainers for triples $26
	PC Valve seals $19
	Total $971**

**Excludes cost of springs which were part of cam kit and value of open
	chamber heads.
