Let me answer my own question. It turns out the the intake port
is *not* relocated upward. It only has the bottom filled in. I was
sure I checked this previously and thought the port was raised but
that's not the case. This means any 4V intake will bolt up. All
that's required is to fill the lower part of the port with aluminum
weld. I'll probably re-work the A331 with the suggestions Vizard
mentions in his induction book and see how that works. I might
also try a Strip Dominator or Blue Thunder. I'd rather try the
Strip Dominator but the Blue Thunder would have the advantage
of having carb heat for quicker warm ups.
The A331 is essentially just a Torker with the bottom part of
the port filled. Should work better than a Torker since the
ports are smaller.
