Keith, I think somebody should look into these 10 quart pans. When I ran my
car, or should I say when I stopped my car hard, the oil pressure would drop
from 75psi to almost 0psi. To aleviate this, I would add more oil and go out
and test again. My 10 quart Aviad pan would take 12.5 quarts before this
would not happen. I don't know what was happening inside the engine from
foaming, but my oil pressure would be stable and I ran the car in this fasion
for 9 years with no problems. But I'm really suspect about a fundamental
problem with these pan(s) design. What do you think?
