Hi all,
I been working in the yard all roto-tilling the flower beds for my wife and
when I was cleaning up, I walked into the garage and noticed green fluid
under the front drivers side of the car. I can't believe that stock
radiators only last 26 years, I am shocked. Well it lasted all the way back
home from Boise, Idaho and has been on several nice drives in the last
couple of weeks.
I knew going into this deal that it had a stock radiator, so my question to
the group is:
I would like to put in a lay-forward radiator with sucker fans since the car
already has hood vents. I would like to hear some opinions about which
radiator works best for this application, also Mike Drew mentioned in an
earlier email that the stock fans can be wired to run backwards. Would
these work in a sucker fan installation? I know radiators are at least
$400.00 to $500.00 and I really don't want to spend another $300.00 to
$400.00 on new sucker fans.
Thanks for your help and I hope I didn't open too big a can of worms, John
