Hi - I'm not an expert on whether you should use Webers or not. . . . .wait I 
just had a flashback and remember wrestling with them on my 289 Fairlane in 
1964. Now that I think about it I may not be doing you a favor my telling you 
this - but someone has a manifold with low profile carbs that I think might 
be modified Webers. Check out Hall - I think it was in one of their recent 
ads that I saw them. You don't need the Sawzall to install them. Good luck -
