Scotty,
We had two 1st place finishes, two 2nd places finishers (Brock and I) and
one 3rd Place finish (Ken Daniels). . the best effort yet by Team Pantera
Racing. No other team had such an impressive record.
I am to blame for the delay in getting the results out......As they say in
the south I "took-to-bed" for a couple days after the fire and then I think
most of us just wanted to forget what had happened. . .but all those
"snap-outta-of-it-Dawg messages from you'all helped square me away.
:-))))))))))
My fire definately threw a wet blanket on the event as a whole and TPR in
particular was demoralized and thats a real shame too because we had the
most successful TPR team ever assembled. We had several win place or shows
and we were one point out from placing 1st in the *Team Challenge*. . .the
TWO Corvette teams finished behind us! :-) But here's the 1st Place
finishers and a BIG congrats to
Dave Crego in the 100 Mph Average Class
Mike Joyce in the 115 Mph Average Class
Excellent job Dave & Mike... I also want to say that Eric Belter and Grant
Stockwell SHOULD have placed in the event but due to bad timing they didn't
get credit for their actual timed runs....I know how they feel because the
same thing happened to me and Charlie last Sept. after Kelly Seivers
accident. Charlie Puckett and I couldn't run our cars when the race was
suspended...and were listed as DNS! I also want to thank Scotty and Larry
Stock and ***all*** our supporters out there. . .It was YOU guys - all you
guys who were so great. . .
MD, OUT of bed who WILL be back in Sept for Silver State with a TPR team and
driving a Pantera!!! :-)))))
