mike, as i have only seen photos of the "sphere bars" i can only guess
what they are made of, but they look like a spherical bearing mounted within
a polyurethane housing then mounted to existing sway bar studs, am i
correct? if so what would stop a person from simply using a male heim rod end
of proper diam. as sway bar , and then drilling proper size hole exactly half
way between each original sway bar bushing mounting studs. this would place
the bushing in the proper location on the lower a arm. the proper sway bar
to lower a arm height could then be arrived at by welding a nut to the
underside of a arm and simply rotating the rod end till its height is right
to hold sway bar at proper height, then use a jam nut to lock it down and
keep it from turning. this same approach might be able to be used at all of
the sway bar mounting locations. would this not give one the ability to
adjust his sway bars effects, by raising or lowering the rod settings.
just my thoughts .now lets hear from some experts mike, one can get 4 good
self lubed rod ends for under 75.00
