Walter,
I had no mounting problems.
I ran a few test runs last night around work. Didn't do the HP test,
as the doc states you have to go over 120 MPH (or below 30).
I drove the Firebird...0->60 several times and for an old motor (32+ years)
that is out of tune it produced a low time of 7.7 seconds. Several times
the unit thought I was going for a 1/4 run and didn't seem to produce a
valid 0->60 time.
Then we tried the braking test, 60->0. I did this several times also,
but only got one valid reading of 167 feet. The car was into lockup,
then back off, then into lockup again. My passenger was getting nervous,
as the braking put us in a 40 degree from straight slide. Some brake
adjustment is necessary. Then the Air Force Police showed up...
Just tried a 1996 RX-7 (performance version), one test only, it clocked
a 5.3 second 0->60 time. No brake test to report, but one brake attempt
generated a -.89 G reading. This car should 60->0 in about 120 feet.
Naturally more testing to follow ;-}}}
