I had been doing this for 5-6 years in the Nor-Cal chapter (and as far away 
as Denver) for the axle-nut & spring-removal tools, at my own expense (no 
rental involved). Then, the fabricated axle-nut wrench was irreversibly 
broken, so I substituted a $75 aftermarket socket- which disappeared 
somewhere in one of my friends' toolboxes..... Good luck with the library
