Well, I'm glad we finally got that story straight....<grin> That would
mean "Dime-bag Darrell" put Pantera (the band) together when he was about 5
years old.... Iacocca was a genius. For history's sake Pantera, the
band, was not formed until 1983.
At the last AutoRama here in town, one of the other chapter members and I
sat on a bench behind Joe Lobue's wicked little Pantera and listened to all
the "Know it alls" look at the motor and impress their friends with their
knowledge of cars....
According to our "experts", Joe's car had everything from a 427 rat motor,
to a fuel injected 427 side oiler, to Ford's only overhead cam V8, to a
V12.... Oh, and the tranny was from Volkswagen!!
One 14 year old knew it was a 351C....Which he pronounced like "Howard the
Duck"...cleveLAND!
