The Pantera has some short comings that are easily addressed.  The same type
of comments I've heard about the 426 Hemi( the reason they don't make that
engine any more is the fact that it "was no damn good").  Some people were,
are, and will forever be just full of shit.

Pick a nice car(with the help of other Pantera owners) and upgrade
appropriately. 

Pantera=well, nothing is as well balanced for driving and racing at anywhere
near the price
