On that same thread....
Detomaso named the Mangusta because he had just gotten burned by Carrol
Shelby on the 70P project. The Mongoose (Mangusta) is the natural enemy of
the snake (Cobra). Although I doubt the 'gusta gave the cobra ANY
competition, ya gotta love those Italians.
