Can't help on the Mikuni, Fred, but a 48 DCOE is rated @ 220 cfm thru each 
barrel, just like a 48 IDA that runs 38mm venturiis. BTW, four of this 2-bbl 
carb is also way too small for a 351 c.i. engine if you run a 1 barrel per 
cylinder I.R-type intake. A pair of the 45s are about right for a 2-liter 
Alfa engine. There was an astronomically-priced 58 DCOE that was used on big 
V-8 prototypes in the '70s, and if you REALLY need them, there are several 
shops in So-Cal today that build 58 and 64-mm IDE copies....for $795 apiece. 
At those prices, EFI looks reasonable.... Cheers- J DeRyke
