the Pre-L was about 3150, and the L was about 3300 or so.
USA cars had steel beams (pretty flimsy though) in the doors while Euro cars
did not. Also, the L-models gained weight not only with the bumpers, but
also the associated mounting rams and extra chassis reinforcements for same.

have big dyno numbers? Trying to determine how far one can go in
building up their Cleveland before the ZF becomes suspect.

Cleveland! You'll be scattering connecting rods hither and yon LONG before
you approach the ZF's limits.

the various factory engine offerings (just two? pre-L and L?).
>>>310 for the high-compression '71 Pre-L. That went down to 264 for the
L-model (although didn't they also change from SAE net to SAE gross at the
same time, so you're comparing apples and oranges? Or no?) and the Euro GTS
was 330. Don't remember torque figures.
