Wilkinson has a kit for doing this (as I'm sure others do), but his comes with
new lower mounts, top extenders, new rubber pieces and an new shorter cowl
cover. Front fans have to go.... Steve also has the SPAL sucker fans in
stock too.I did this with one of his new radiators, but it works just the same
with the older ones. For fan clearance on the older rads, he does suggest
cutting the bend off rigid outlets and using a taller rubber elbow tube. He
stocks those too.

No, parts fit great!! a fair bit of juggling and cussing is involved....

What about your thermostat?? Have you changed it... I went to a 160 on
someone's advice and it really helped. And what gauges and senders...?. I
heartily recommend the VDO gauge and sender combination over the stock Italian
gauge/american sender/resister kludge..
