Jack Rousch was the OEM supplier for intakes that fit the alloy SVO heads
with its radically shifted ports. My intake has "Rousch Eng" and "Ford
Motorsport" cast onto the runners. Since the heads were designed strictly for
racing, there is no carb heat, the oil is kept well away from the base of the
carb due to the large air gap and porting is "substantial". There were two
basic carb pad heights for tuning purposes, since NASCAR stopped allowing
removable carb spacers. To my knowlege, Rousch does not make an intake to fit
any iron 351C heads, and the SVO porting is so different, you'd have a LOT of
trouble welding up adapters to make it fit. Can't comment on the Euro price,
but most of these intakes are still readily available through Ford/SVO.
