FWIW: I laid the radiator fwd as outlined, then for the "test" this year, I
fabricated a whole series of sheet metal "filler" pieces for ducting air into
the radiator core: the bottom of the rad to the grille, the sides of the body
to the rad, filled the big oval holes below the rad, duct-taped the top cover
so it couldn't lift up, etc, etc. So 100% of the air entering the front
spoiler went thru the radiator with no leakage around it. Note- I run a
Revson front scoop/spoiler. And just as last year, after a 'while' @ 140+,
the water temp began creeping up. I terminated the test when it got to 220
degrees. So I'm convinced now that I need bigger holes in my shroud IF the
Pantera is to spend much time at such speeds. I could use Honda-type
triangular rubber flapper valves in the shroud between the fans, I guess.
Next year.... Cheers- J DeRyke
