Subject:Proportioning Valve

Hi all,

I understand that removing or replacing the factory proportioning valve
greatly improves the braking of the P cars, but some of the people I have
talked to that had replaced the valve with an aftermarket one seemed to find
that the car stopped best with the valve set at neutral.

My question is that if neutral appears to work the best with the stock
brakes, has anyone ever gutted the stock valve so that it has no affect on
the braking of the car, but still retains that stock look in the front
trunk.

If that can't be done than does anyone know where to get the flaring tool to
do the special flares that are on the end of the brake lines?

Thanks in advance, John #5616
