RH,

SOunds like a 302 intake with the 68 part number!!!! I would expect a C9
(69) part number on a 351W as this was the first year used! Not 68.... ???

I'm assuming that this is a cast iron piece??

70 351W's never came with 4V intakes on them as the 4V was reserved for
the Cleveland. So, someone has put this intake on your car.... THere will
also be a date cast into the manifold, probably towards the rear, perhaps
under the secondary bowl of the carb area... This will tell you when the
intake was cast. I've seen 68 part numbers on 67 production cars that were
produced laaaaate in the production cycle. Who knows, you may have a very
early part here... dates will tell!

Are there port spacers on them??? Between the intake and the head
surface??? About a quarter inch thick or so???? This would indicate a 302
intake "adapted" to fit the Windsor.... strange, but doable if you have
enuf time....
