Screw the flaring tool. Buy Swage-Loc's and do the entire job in 20 minutes.  
3/16 Swage-Loc fitting to 1/8" pipe or wherever you want to go with it.  Cut 
the tube slide it on, turn it 1.25 turns and you have a fitting way stronger 
that the tubing.  Done.
