Help.
I am looking for advice on adding internet access services to my home.
1. It looks like I could add another phone line for $35-85 dollars
installation plus $11.95 per month (PAC BELL).
or
2. Get some DSL deal for $39 per month with no installation fee.
As close as I can tell the difference is a speed thing. The DSL thing will
handle speeds up to 58 mega kila somethings bites (v90?) with a special
modem. I guess the standard modem(s) are a little bit slower. This feels
alot like a cam/intake/carb selection. A group of matched componants
designed for a specific set of compromises.
I could really use an education. I humbly turn to my Pantera bretheren who
have lots of experience going fast....for less.
TIA
Brent
