No. Remove the gas tank top cover. In the middle of the tank top, there are a
ring of 6 screws holding in the gas tank sender, with 3 wires connecting plus
one flex fuel line. Make a dwg- one wire is for the gas level to the gauge,
one is for the red low-fuel warning light in the dash and one is ground.
Don't mix them up. The sender is foldable but its easier if the quarter
window is removed (it simply pulls out- the rubber gasket and old paint are
all that's holding it in there....) Cheers- J DeRyke
