Don't forget to chop out the rear crossmember and either replace it with a
removable custom unit, or make the OEM one removable. Also do the same to the
e-brake bracket. All this is ridiculously easy with the engine out and hours
or days of work when its in the way. Both must be removed to drop the oil pan
in the future; if you don't do it now, Mr Murphy will be stopping by your
place before long...... I'd also add a "10-qt" oil pan to your motor ASAP.
Many engine shops won't build a Pantera engine with a stock pan any more, due
to the cornering power available with this car and the quickly wasted
main/rod bearings that often result with a stock pan. Cheers- J deRyke
