Maybe; hard to tell just where it might go. Remember I told you the
throttle-shaft 0-ring seals we used were to seal for blow-thru supercharging.
But there's still the unmetered air being sucked in thru the oval throttle
shaft holes, that screws with good mixture control. This may be why the
thing ran decently with those big secondary jets? If you're absolutely in
love with that particular Holley, try locating another Holley of similar size
& swap the throttle castings. It need not be the exact same carb to fit. The
San Jose Flea Market used to have a "Mr Carb" where you could get parted-out
Holleys & other brands. Cheers- J DeRyke
