hi,

The pantera and fiero shares some of the por's and con's so that is why i
ask this here, not mutch info aboth fieros on the web !
I have spent aboth 3-4hours looking at Fiero webpages for a clue aboth
this...


was out and testing a Fiero GT 87 (old suspesion) and i was amased how
instable it was at 100-130Mph(160-208Kmh), it felt like it had a big traler
on the
back( = light front).
was verry instable, yes like i would never think a car could be! (at that
low
speed)
there was a little slop in the stering (that i fealt from stearingwheel)
the stearing wheel column did not feel firmly connected to the chassis (the
whole plasic st.wheel console fealt a little loose /plastic flex)

it got relly bad under _hard_ braking... felt like it would start to
wobble...
i had to contra stear multiple seaveraltimes from aboth 100mph, the car did
brake and stop ok for stock car...
all fealt ok at lower speeds (in middle leagal range ;)

you have a clue to what it was ? (and if it is expensive to fix)

there were no slop at all in the wheels, fealt from the
weels/rims(front+rear) that i could feel when the car was on ground, would a
broken torsionbar or bad shocks do this ?

the car is stock else, as far as i know.
the stearing damper could it affect this ?

or was the car simply getting verry light in front ? as i understand the
engine cooler lets the air out under the car.... the rubberlip in front of
the radiator was ok.
Verry mutch similar to the early panteras, if so it shuld help to openup the
front hood to let the air out... (this is why i posted it here... and beqose
all of the pepole the have a clue is here  :)

any help is apriciated!

or shuld i simply only look for a 88 model GT ?
