DeTomaso Mailing List: September 99, Message #28

The windows on my car don't go far enough down.
You notice it when your arm is on the ledge.  It sticks up
maybe an 1/8 inch.  I've seen this on other cars too.

Is this a common problem ?

I just read in an old PI Issue (Vol. 4 #1, Summer 1977), of a 
fix in a letter on page 4.

It involves grinding part of the lever where it strikes the bottom
of the door, and grinding the two holes larger where the glass
mounts to the assembly.

Anyone try this ?  Or have another fix to suggest ?
