No listing for your "P" car in the Bill Van Ess DeTomaso Registry.   :-(

The month code in the VIN  "LU" represents October 1971... the month
that the body was assembled at Vignale before being shipped down to the
the DeTomaso Modena facility for the finishing work.

You can always do a VIN search thru the DMV's where the kitty used to live
and get first hand info from the former owners!

But...don't forget to enjoy the ride while you are doing your research!!!  :-)
