Keep in mind there are Aussie blocks and then there are Aussie blocks.
The number you list is for Mike Fielder.  The block that I bought from him 
weighs 150 lbs and has 2 bolt mains, the same as a standard U.S. 351C
block.  The Aussie NASCAR XE block was the heavyweight with 4 bolt mains.
Also, there were supposedly siamesed and non-siamesed bore versions of the
thick-walled blocks.  Jay Cushman of Cushman Competition sometimes has
the thick walled Aussie blocks (for $1000) but they are use race parts and
may need work (like a sleeve).  You also might want to contact Kip at PPC
about the Aussie blocks as well.
