Trust Dave on this one, Use BLUE.  Ford modules of the same color are all
interchangeable.  Blue is the basic module.  Others have different features
and are for things like computer control, thus the extra connectors.  Some
are the same as the Blue but have different locations for the wires in the
connectors.  You just replace with the same color you have now, most likely
blue.  Most shops sell them this way.  Just get the shop guy to look in
boxes till he finds the blue one or just start picking old applications
like a 77 Maverik with a 302.
