Hello Tony and Company:
Highway 1 is probably best suited for touring, period. I wouldn't recommend
going for any sort of rally or speed course on this highway. There have been
numerous accidents, many of them plunging unfortunate motorists over those
cliffs. It is a narrow winding road and there are many RV's and other "looky
loo's" that traverse that highway. Seek other venues for testing the great
cat but Highway 1 via Big Sur shouldn't be a platform for this sort of
thing. My opinion. Thanks. Cal. #2428r.
