Charles,
I have noticed that the CHP is now using radar at night on many roads in Ca.
If you make that run often I hope you have a valentine fore and aft
detector. <smile>
I make the 280 drive at least 2 times a week in my driver car. For some
reason I can't figure out, between Woodside and the Foothill turn off, there
seems to be a few porsche guys/gals who love to test their cars out (read
not let anyone pass them...). Always seem to run into them when I am in
one of my reg. cars,on the way home after a long day at work. So if you
happen to be driving that road late at night and see a porshe out there, you
are forwarded. 280 does have some woop-dee-dos in the road so I would
becareful of going too fast. On the up-hill straight just after the half
moon bay/92 turn off, going south, stay in the right lanes because the # 1
and 2 lanes have a roller coaster effect going up the hill.
