Okay, I've received some very interesting feedback so far, both publicly
and privately.
The overwhelming response thus far is for the the stock gear from a Ford
roller cam'd engine.
Which engines from Ford came with roller cams?
I know the 302's 351W's did, but the research I've done indicates they take
a different drive gear. The 429-460's appear to use the same gear, but did
Ford make any with roller cams?
I guess what I'm asking is this...
For those of you that have used the Ford gear from a roller cam engine,
what did you use? What part number do I ask for at the dealership? Are we
talking a Cleveland here or are those of you that responded running Windsors?
I'm confused. : (
