Dear Don,
You know, I think that I saw this guy and this car run at Poconos about 2 or 3 years ago. The "little" car ran well and wasn't completely accepted by the prancing horse purists. Come to think of it, I think that they weren't too keen on any of the non factory, non N.A.R.T. track cars. A rather odd attitude, I thought.
Cordially, Chuck Engles

3-liter motor in the 308, fitted with a factory turbo ('cause turbos weren't
taxed!)

Aha... the bell rings...
An old friend of lister Mike Trusty and a new friend of mine, who lives in
the Florida Keys, owns one of those "208" cars. This particular car was
"stolen" from the Ferrari factory and eventually turned up in the U.S. where
it was eventually confiscated and sold to our friend.
He has it turbo'd and tricked with a lot of non-Ferrari stuff and is
therefore non-persona grata with the gold-chained prancing horsey crowd.
The car is gun metal gray and moves like a scared rabbit! Needles to say...
he smokes those unsuspecting 308 weenies!
