  Hey, boys and girls, keep Saturday, October 9th, 1999 open on your
calendars until the formal press release, to be aired on this forum
later this weekend.
  At great effort, Colleen ("Not-the-Carbabe") has arranged for Boeing
to provide the club with  15 VIP passes for this year's Edwards Air
Force Base Airshow. An itinerary shows that the Saturday airshow will
include  F-22 Raptor and B-2 Stealth Bomber events, among other
performances..
  We plan to meet at a northern LA county restaurant early on Saturday
morning and caravan up I-5 to the same exit we use when going to Willow
Springs Raceway, but then we turn East instead of West.   More news to
follow.
