hi charlie,
yust wanted to thank ewe for that carb - it was at my door when i got home from
work yesterday evening, and by 9 p.m., my pantera was running great once again!
:>) only a few miscellaneous fittings & linkages needed to be changed; other
than that, it was plug-n-play. my car now runs better than any time since i've
had it - that old carb must really be gunked-up, cuz even when the pantera
wasn't bogging, it never pulled as strong as it does now. ain't this pantera
forum *grand*! :>)
again, many thanks!

*****Doug, give Cory Gehling a call at 608-849-9878 or 9879 (one
is his
fax, one is his phone. If the number beeps and buzzes at you, hang up
and try
the other :-{ ) and ask if he still has mine. I had a stock carb that
had JUST
been rebuilt when my motor sucked a valve. During the rebuild process I
changed
intake and carb. Not knowing if there was much of a market for stock
intake
manifolds or carbs (probably more so the carb than the manifold..) I
asked him
to hold onto them for a little while, then do with them as he pleased if
I
didn't get back to him. If he still has them (it has been just a shade
over a
year) you are more than welcome to them.... If he wants confirmation
from me let
me know and I'll send him a fax or something....
