Correct- one 4-speed version was also used in a type of pavement-roller (the
so-called 'Fendt Roller'). Also used in the small-block GT-40s and the
Mangusta as well as about every mid-engined sporty car ever built in Europe.
In the back of the ZF shop manual, there's a whole list of gear oils
approved, and some were only available in bulk from Porsche or Jaguar
dealers. Now, 29 years later, most any 75W90 for posi-type diffs works just
fine. 100% synthetics? Dunno- the jury's still out on that. Cheers- J DeRyke
