The previous owner had the Campys on my Pantera polished and they
turned out very nice. You can see a digital picture of one at:
http://www.WildRides.com/panpage/Pantera%20Pics/Dans%20wheel.jpg
The lip and raised section around the large single slots and center were
polished while the area around the double slots was left painted. When
Mike Dailey was inspecting them, he was surprised to see how smooth
they were, especially considering the DeTomaso and Campy stamped-in
script is still clearly visible.
I like the look of a polished Campy much better than a painted one.
I do have to go over them with some wadding polish once a month
or so to keep them shiney but Mike says he has to do the same
with his aluminum wheels.
The only trouble is I want to go to 16"/17" wheels so I may have them for
sale sometime in the future...
