Speaking of drag racing, and the Pantera, what quarter mile times did
original/stock Pantera's accomplish?

Motor Trend(fair review) did a test on a 73 with 8.5/1 C.R. and it's
published times were-
test weight-3580lbs.
MPH-99.11
TIME-14.45sec.
R+T(pissy review) did a test on a 71 with 10.7/1 C.R. and it's stats
read as follows-
test weight-3500lbs.
MPH-94.5
TIME-14.5
TOP SPEED-129@5900rpm.
In 85 R+T did a test on the 14 fastest cars in America and for a GT5S-
MPH-99.5
TIME-14.0
TOP SPEED-147.2
Rated 10th fastest out of the 14 they gathered(no Ferraris)
It all varies according to carpet thickness I think...
