Hello All:
There was a thread last week on e-brake cables. My e-brakes were totally untrustworthy. My mechanic said he thought it was due to internal resistance on the cable caused by the bent-up and dirty sprial cable housing. Being tired of carrying around a foot long piece of 4X4 to be used as a wheel chock, I decided to bite the bullet and called Marino about a new set of cables. They arrived yesterday and boy are they nice looking ($99.95). Heavy gauge cable with a nice closed "plastic" skin over the cable housing. Really professionally done. I can hardly wait to get them installed. Let's just hope that they actually make the intended improvement.
